Samsung Announces 512GB SSD Stamp Size

One more new product innovations announced by Samsung's 512GB SSD is only a postage stamp size. The manifold NVMe SSD PCIe and called PM971-NVMe. The new Samsung SSD products intended for PCs and ultra-thin notebooks. NVMe BGA SSD is claimed to have performed three times better than the SATA SSD. Samsung PM971 SSD-NVMe made by making a single BGA package that combines 16 V-NAND flash chips 48 layer 256GB, the car 4Gb 20nm DRAM chip, as well as the controller. The SSD size is 20mm x 16mm x 1.5mm and weighs only about 1gram. In size, the SSD 1/100 times smaller than the 2.5-inch SSD or HDD is now used in a variety of PCs and laptops. The new Samsung SSD speed read / write up to 1500 Mbps / 900 Mbps, so that it can transfer a 5GB movie file within 3 seconds. Samsung claims that the new SSD speeds 1500 times faster than regular HDD. Samsung will provide PM971 SSD-NVMe in sizes of 128GB, 246GB, and 512GB. The products will be available starting this month.
