Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) Starts Getting Security Patch On October

Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) has begun receiving a new update. Known as firmware version XXU2BPJ1 for units in Europe, the update is also equipped with Android security patches for the month of October. It also bumps the Android OS version to 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Given that just scrolling updates, it may take some time for the update notice to appear on the screen of your device.
