Google Discover the Great Insecurity in Android, Can Steal Root Access
The Android operating system always obtain monthly security update by Google. Such efforts seem to be able to overcome findings Android vulnerability that has past, although there was also a missed unpatched bug as discovered recently.
Android Security Advisor through the pages, the Google has warned of a vulnerability finding new bug that is considered important to be addressed. The bug allows attackers to steal access root easily, which in turn can be used to control the device fully included for the purposes of evil.
The vulnerability comes from the Linux kernel that has not been updated. The kernel issue has been patched since February 2015 and then in OS Linux, kernel updates but unfortunately they are not included in a variety of Android devices including Nexus is still wearing the Linux kernel version 3.4, 3:10 and 3:14. To overcome this Android device must use a Linux kernel version of 3:18 and above.
Exploitation of these vulnerabilities although Google seems not yet spread find no application in the Play Store that can be used indirectly to exploit the bug. Google side only mention the name of the application in question, but only mentions that the root access on the app is the result of unintended side.
The Google has published a warning and advising how to cope. According to Google, the improvement of vulnerability is already available and will be delivered in the next monthly security update or faster.
